Pride Festivals 2024

Canadian Blood Services is continuing to engage with 2SLGBTQIA+ communities at booths during Pride Festivals throughout Canada in 2024.

At Pride events this year we are having conversations about recent changes to donor eligibility criteria, sharing our apology to 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, and listening to 2SLGBTQIA+ communities about how we can rebuild relationships with them.

Here’s where we will be in 2024:

• Pride Winnipeg – June 1-2

• Saskatoon Pride – June 22

• Pride Toronto – June 29-30

• Victoria Pride – July 7

• Pride London – July 20-21

• Edmonton Pride – August 23-24

• Capital Pride (Ottawa) – August 24-25

• Calgary Pride – September 1

For the first time ever, Canadian Blood Services is also marching in a Pride parade. Ottawa Capital Pride has welcomed us to march in their parade on August 25^th, 2024.

We are thankful for so many wonderful connections and conversations at Pride 2024 and look forward to continued conversations.
