Beyond The Apology - Engaging 2SLGBTQIA+ Communities
We know that our 2024 apology to 2SLGBTQIA+ communities was just the first step. It was an intentional step towards creating a space where 2SLGBTQIA+ communities feel seen and safe when engaging with Canadian Blood Services; and we recognize how much work still needs to be done.
We are prioritizing the work of rebuilding trust, strengthening relationships, and forging inclusive spaces with our 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.Canadian Blood Services is actively doing this is by partnering with 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, leaders, and organizations across Canada to remove any barriers to inclusion and foster a culture of belonging.
We want you to be a part of this. Freely and openly share your experiences, concerns, and questions - we're listening.
How You Can Take Action
There are several ways to make your voice heard. Our online Engagement Forum is a digital space where you can participate in important discussions and contribute directly to the work being done at CBS. You can also reach us at engage@blood.ca.
